At Resofa, we want you to feel confident when purchasing second‑hand and ex-display furniture from us. This Refund & Returns Policy explains your rights and what you can expect if you need to return an item or request a refund.
1. Condition of Items
All our products are second‑hand or ex-display, meaning they may show signs of use.
We describe each item accurately, including:
- Any visible wear or imperfections
- Measurements and specifications
- Condition notes or grading
By purchasing from Resofa, you acknowledge that the item is not new and accept the described condition.
If you feel an item you received was not as described, please contact us immediately.
2. Returns Eligibility
You may be eligible for a return if:
- The item arrives damaged in transit
- The item is materially different from the description
- There is a significant undisclosed fault
You may not be eligible for a return if:
- You simply change your mind
- The item fits your home differently than expected
- Wear-and-tear consistent with second‑hand furniture characteristics was clearly described
- Damage occurs after delivery or due to misuse
3. Timeframe for Returns
You must notify us of any issues within 48 hours of delivery.
This includes:
- Damage noticed on arrival
- Missing parts
- Condition concerns
After 48 hours, we may not be able to process a return due to the nature of second-hand goods.
4. How to Request a Return
To request a return, email us at:

Include:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Photos of the item and any issues
- A brief description of the problem
We aim to respond within 48 hours.
5. Collections & Return Costs
If a return is approved:
- We will arrange collection of the item
- The item must be in the same condition as delivered
- Items must be unused beyond initial inspection
Return costs
- If the item is faulty or not as described, Resofa covers the return costs.
- If the return is due to any other reason, delivery and collection charges may be deducted from the refund.
6. Refunds
Once the returned item has been inspected and approved:
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method
- Please allow up to 7–10 business days for the refund to appear
- Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item was defective or misdescribed
7. Non‑returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:
- Items damaged after delivery
- Items altered, modified, or repaired by the customer
- Clearance items labelled “sold as seen”
- Items that have been used beyond reasonable inspection
8. Cancellations (Before Delivery)
If you wish to cancel an order before delivery, contact us as soon as possible.
If the item has not yet been dispatched, we can cancel and issue a full refund.
If the item is already out for delivery, delivery fees may be deducted.
